Want To Buy Some Michigan Land?

Who was it that said, "They ain't making land anymore"? Or something like that...I think I heard that somewhere at some point. Maybe nobody said that but it does seem true, right? The land that is here is already here.

However, there is such a thing as "surplus land". I didn't know that, but there is and you my friend can buy yourself some surplus land. I don't know how land ends up being designated as such but there is some for sale in The Mitten.

According to News 10, there is close to 150 public land parcels up for sale and some are as small as less than an acre and as big as 160 acres. Some apparently are pretty nice with trails, lakes and access to rivers.
