I just got my COVID19 vaccination a few weeks ago, and the first thing I did was check airfares for a trip to Las Vegas to see my daughter. I did notice fares went up quite a bit compared to a few months ago. I booked it anyway. I am ready to start to get back to normal and start living life again.

I enjoy traveling and only got on a plane once the past year because of the pandemic  I am so ready to get away to one of my favorite cities, Las Vegas.

Check this out, folks in Mid Michigan are getting ready and eager to take off to their favorite destinations. This is because COVID-19 vaccinations are going in full force says fox47news.com.

We’re starting to see that demand come back up and the airlines are responding, said Robert Benstein, Capital Region International Airport's interim president and CEO. In 2019, Capital Region International had 178,000 boarding's. Last year, that number dropped to 67,000.

If you remember last year, people were saying the airports were like ghost towns. Plus the planes were pretty empty, and all the middle seats were vacant.

It is still very important to remember though, that health experts are still telling people to take all the precautions. We still need to be wearing masks and carrying hand sanitizer.

Plus airlines are seeing many more folks making reservations over the summer season.

Happy flying kids, and enjoy your safe travels.
