Over in Minnesota this last weekend, Paige Dougherty was sitting on her family's dock on Island Lake, north of Duluth, dangling her feet in the water and minding her own business, when a 3-foot muskie jumped up and bit her. According to TwinCities.com, this is the second time this summer a muskie has bitten somebody on that lake. The other attack happened to an 11-year old girl and required surgery to repair. This attack just resulted in some scratches.

Apparently, when you dig deeper into the story, the family says they had three walleye in a basket hanging on the dock, which might have attracted the muskie - AND Paige was wearing a dangling ankle bracelet and had painted toenails, which is obviously the look fishing lure companies have been trying to replicate for years.

Watch your feet this weekend. Here's the story.
