Sure, you could go to any old grocery store in the area. Or you could even hit up a Farmer's Market. But what about going right to the source; the farm itself! Plenty of farms in the Mid-Michigan area offer the hands-on experience of getting to pick your own berries.

When it comes to picking fruit, like most Michiganders, I've tried my hand at apple picking. And come apple season, Phillip's Orchard in St. John's is the place to go. But, when we're talking about berries, strawberries in particular, Diederich's Farms in Webberville is where you wanna be. Their Earlyglow strawberries have to be one of the best tasting berries I've ever had in my life. Plus, they have other produce you can buy while you're there, like asparagus.

But Diederich's isn't the only farm in the area with u-pick berries, my investigative skills dug up a handful of berry-picking paradises.
