The sound wall project on U.S. 127 between Grand River and Lake Lansing that began earlier this year has been put on hold until after Labor Day.

The Lansing State Journal reports that the stall is due to supply issues. Kari Arend, spokeswoman for Michigan Department of Transportation, says the supply issues have to do with the "production of the posts and panels, basically the wall itself." So yeah, they don't have the wall pieces to build the wall.

Even though the original goal was to have the project completed by October, Arend says the goal is to have the project completed this year. Get more details HERE.
