Two Michigan Guys in Final Six of World Series of Poker
Out of the last six players in the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, TWO are from Michigan!
One of the two, Joe Cada, from Shelby Township, has been there before. In 2009, he was the WSOP Champion. But the other guy, Nicolas Manion, has come out of Muskegon to stun the poker world. And, even if Manion doesn't win the whole thing, the way he got to the final six is already the stuff of legend. Here's the video from ESPN:
The final six players are guaranteed to walk away with no LESS than $1.8 million. The winner, on Sunday, will take home $8.8 million. They'll play down to the final three tonight. Cross your fingers for the Michiganders.
