Twilight Movie Marathon at Michigan’s Henry Ford

Calling all Michigan BookTok girlies, Elder Millennial Emos, and Twi-Hards, I have exciting news for you!

If you're a fan of the Twilight book series and the movies based on them, The Henry Ford Museum is throwing a Twilight movie marathon.

The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn is filled with historical artifacts, some as small as a marble, others as big as a literal train. But did you know The Henry Ford Museum is also home to a Giant Screen Experience, where you can watch movies in new, state-of-the-art 4K digital projection.

If you love the Twilight movies—regardless of whether you're Team Edward or Team Jacob—this is a great chance to see them all on the big screen. Maybe you remember seeing the first Twilight film when it originally came to theaters in 2008? Maybe this would be your first time seeing it in theaters? If you want to be part of the Twilight movie marathon, set aside some time on Valentine's Day weekend.

New Moon - Saturday, February 14 @ 1:30 pm
Eclipse - Saturday, February 14 @ 4 pm
Breaking Dawn Part 1 - Sunday, February 15 @ 12 pm
Breaking Dawn Part 2 - Sunday, February 15 @ 2:30 pm

In addition to the movie marathon, The Henry Ford Museum is also doing themed concessions, trivia, and prizes.

Keep in mind that you get a deal the more movies you go to; "Buy a full price ticket to one Twilight movie and each additional same day movie for $5. Want to see even more? Call, or buy tickets in person, for $5 tickets to the next day's movies."

The Henry Ford Museum, situated in Dearborn, Michigan, is home to many permanent and temporary exhibits. Your Childhood is Now an Exhibit at Michigan's Henry Ford Museum

I'm sorry, Generation X. Your childhood is officially a museum exhibit. The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation's Your Place in Time displays showcases each generation's impact on the United States, from the Progressive Generation to today. While it's not surprising to see items from the 1890s or 1950s displayed for their historical significance, it's a bit jarring to round a corner and see your childhood toys under glass. Here's a look at one of those displays featuring Generation X's impact on electronic play and the first generation to require the phrase "batteries not included."
