These Are The Weirdest Laws In Michigan
Every state's got them, but do you know what Michigan's are?
Thrillist recently put together a list of the weirdest law in each state. I was intrigued... So I made my way down the list until I came to Michigan, and I gotta say, I was a little disappointed at what they dubbed Michigan's weirdest law... The law Thrillist dubbed as the weirdest is one that states "No person shall while in an offensive state of intoxication enter or be on or remain upon any railway train or interurban car as a passenger." - per Legislature of Michigan.
The reason for my disappointment was that immediately upon doing a quick Google search for "weirdest laws in Michigan", I found WAY weirder laws! Ranker put together a list of weird law in Michigan, and it it was way weirder. Example: "It is illegal to paint sparrows to sell them as parakeets" or, in Rochester, MI, "All bathing suits must have been inspected by the head of police." Rochester's head of police sure is going to have a busy summer if they still enforce that weird law. Read about some more weird laws that Michigan has, here.
