Spring break is on the way for many schools in West Michigan, and it's time to get out of the house and stretch those legs after a long winter. But, gas prices are high and everyone is sick of staring and screens, so what can you do to please the entire family without breaking the bank?

Here's a list of some of the top rated (and some little known) things you can get into that will leave everyone cheering that spring fun has finally arrived.

Great Lakes Glow Golf

This indoor mini-golf and family activity center is the perfect place to spend an afternoon no matter the weather. And if they're busy, no problem: they have an arcade to keep you entertained while you wait for your tee-time.

Critter Barn

If you have an animal lover in your family, they'll be wagging their tail at this adorable petting zoo. They're open Tuesday through Sunday from 10-5, and they're super affordable. A family of up to 5 can go for only $25 with their family ticket price, so it's great for your budget too.

Craig's Cruisers

One of Grand Rapid's premier family centers is a must for your spring break activities. They offer their namesake of go-karts, zip lines, mini golf, an arcade and more. While some of their activities aren't available year round, they have more than enough to get into year round to make it worth the trip out. Also, they're offering a wrist band deal for spring break, so jump on it before you miss out.
