For as long as I can remember, I've always thought that sitting still and putting your hands on the steering wheel when you get pulled over is a really good idea, even turning on your interior lights if it's nighttime. I've always felt that doing all of this sends an immediate signal to the officer who has pulled you over that you aren't messing around and that you are being compliant as he makes his way to your vehicle. I've never asked but I would have to believe that the officer might even appreciate these actions.

Now, I'm not passing judgement here and to each his own, but never in a million years would I ever pull a phone out and start snapping photos to post to social media during a traffic stop.

However, someone did. And it was documented on the Bath Township Police Department's Facebook page. And as usual, it's chuckle-worthy.
