Coming to your phone soon: you're eligible for "food stamps" and ANOTHER stimulus check on July 30th? Nope. Scam. And don't you dare click on any of it.

Scammers will call and try to scare and intimidate you into giving up your credit card info. Consumer's Energy says they don't do that to their customers.

Now these scams are moving close to home according to fox47news.com. Friday night a woman in DeWitt Township was called by a blocked number.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel is warning Michiganders again to beware of scammers claiming to be from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.

Not another scam. Yes, I am afraid so, and this one sounds like it's worse than the others we reported on. Everyone has to be so careful these days about email and phone call scams.  Be leery of anybody asking for money and personal information...

The last 12 months there has been so many more ways for people to fall victim to a scam.  We have passed along at least 5 or 6 lately, and many targeting our elderly which is unacceptable.  I guess with many folks losing income, and their jobs it's bringing a few to a life of crime...

Every time I read one of these scam stories, it makes my blood boil. How pathetic a person are you to take advantage of someone vulnerable?
