Still Bad News: Lansing Area Will Be Hit With Snow Today
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Lansing area from 9am to 10pm today. The NWS says that rain will change to snow today, with heavy snow possible this afternoon. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 7 inches are expected. Also, keep in mind that wind will be a factor with today's weather as gusts could reach up to 35 MPH.
It gets worse to the east of the Lansing area as the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Livingston and Oakland counties. Those counties could see anywhere from 5 to 9 inches of snow.
