It's official.

According to the Lansing State Journal, State Representative for the City of Lansing, Andy Schor, officially announced that he'll be running for mayor. During Schor's news conference held at Strange Matter Coffee, he explained "I'm going to talk to voters; I'm going to explain my vision and my background." Schor also explains more of "vision for the future of Lansing" in a video posted to his Facebook page; you can watch the video below.

At this time, it looks like other mayoral candidates may include Mayor Virg Bernero and At-Large Council Member Judi Brown Clarke. The Lansing State Journal received an email from Bernero explaining that he "expects to seek a fourth term." Clarke will decide if she's running in "a couple weeks." She has until 4 pm on April 25th to decide; that's the deadline to fill. Get more info here.
