Easter Events in Lansing 2026

Every year around Easter, the Greater Lansing area has no shortage of fun events going on. From pictures with the Easter Bunny to egg hunts, there are plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Pictures with the Easter Bunny

Meridian Mall is hosting pictures with the Easter Bunny now through Saturday, April 4, 2026. Time blocks for when the Easter Bunny vary depending on the day; Sundays are 12pm-2:30pm and 4-8pm. Monday through Saturday are 11am-3pm and 4-8pm. Monday is also pet day, so you can take your cat or dog to get a picture with the Easter Bunny.

Flashlight Egg Hunt

Meridian Township is hosting a Flashlight Egg Hunt for kids on Saturday, March 21. You bring the kids and the flashlight, and they'll provide things like carnival games, arts & crafts, bonfires, marshmallow roasting and more. Once it gets dark, about 8:35pm, the flashlight egg hunt will begin! Kids are divided into categories based on age. It costs $10 per child, make sure to register HERE.

Hippity Hop 5K

This 5K is happening at Potter Park Zoo for its 10th year on Saturday, April 4. Participants will begin at Potter Park Zoo, run along the Lansing River Trail and end up back at at the zoo entrance. In addition to the 5K, all participants will gain free entry into Potter Park Zoo that day, the Easter Bunny will be there, and there will be an egg hunt as well!

Downtown Egg-Stravaganza

Formerly known as "Bunny Hop on the Square", this annual event takes place in Downtown Lansing on Saturday, April 4 from 10am-1pm. All kinds of festivities are taking place along Washington Square and the Capitol Lawn. It's a completely free event that includes an egg hunt, activities, and goodies.
