There are so many fun things to do over the holidays, and I know we are limited on what we can do this year because of the Pandemic. But looking at holiday lights is always a must see every Christmas season.  Every city I have lived in over the years I have made it a point to see some. Really does put you in the Christmas spirit, even if you just drive around the neighborhood trying to spot a well decorated house. So maybe it's time to put shopping, cooking, and chores to the side and have little fun now that we are in December

If you need a break from the craziness of the holiday season to take in some holiday lights, Check out these from Michigan.org. Visit one of these eight great Michigan light displays.

  1. Holiday Nights in Greenfield Village in Dearborn
  2. Wayne County Lightfest in Westland
  3. Christmas at Crossroads Holiday Magic in Flint
  4. Big, Bright Light Show in Rochester
  5. Nite Lites in Jackson
  6. Christmas Light Show in Grand Rapids
  7. Wild Lights in Royal Oak
  8. Light Up The Soo in Sault Sainte Marie

Everything on this list will be a great outing for the whole family. The only trouble is which one to go to first, or which ones to choose if you you only have time for a few. You may have to take a family vote.

So what is your favorite thing to do over Christmas with your family? Do you have a holiday tradition you do every year?
