Have you ever visited beautiful Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Michigan's Upper Peninsula?

It's located in Munising and it's nothing short of spectacular. In fact, I've been to Pictured Rocks at least a half dozen times because it's so worth seeing again and again.

Google.com best describes Pictured Rocks:

Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore hugs the south shore of Lake Superior in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. It's known for the dramatic multicolored Pictured Rocks cliffs. Unusual sandstone formations like Miners Castle and Chapel Rock define the park's headlands.

Sounds beautiful don't you think? Take it from me, if you've never been to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, make plans to go sometime over the upcoming summer.

Just make sure you take some extra cash when you go because Pictured Rocks will start charging visitor entrance fees come March of 2022.

And that's not all, if you plan on camping at Pictured Rocks, plan on paying extra for camping fees and believe it or not, additional fees for touring lighthouses too.

The only thing I can personally remember paying for was the boat tour which takes you straight to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. You can get off the boat and walk around and take lots of selfies and all kinds of pictures.

Here's what mlive.com had to say:

The park had proposed new and increased fees earlier this year, citing infrastructure strains due to the increase in visitors over the past decade. A public review and comment period about the proposed fees yielded generally positive feedback, park officials said.

Entrance fees don't bother me a bit. I will still take my family there every chance I get and really enjoy the scenery.
