If your regular or planned travels include a portion of 127 South over the next two weeks, you'll want to be aware that there will be a lane closure that could affect you.

According to the Lansing State Journal, one lane will be closed on US-127 South between Kalamazoo Street to just past the 496 interchange, which would be around Mile Marker 9. Travel around the area will be slower than usual during the two week period.

The closure will take place as crews clean up after a recent diesel fuel leak that happened after a truck had crashed in the area previously.

The project will begin around 9 on Monday morning and should be finished by 5 in the afternoon on Thursday, October 17th.
