Great. Somebody has defiled Kitch-iti-kipi spring with their funky toe-jam.

Kitch-iti-kipi spring in Palms Book State Park (near Manistique) in the Upper Peninsula, is (supposedly) one of the most beautiful spots in Michigan. I wouldn't know. Never been there. Oh, I've planned to go. But every time it was raining or we were too tired or we had to get home to see "Breaking Bad." (Drove right by it on the way home from the U.P. last month)

HOWEVER - if we had gone, I would NOT go swimming in the Kitch-iti-kipi, First, it's too cold. Second, it's illegal. According to MLive.com, the DNR is looking into an incident on July 28th when some guy took a swim there. And some photos were taken because EVERYONE NOW CARRIES A CAMERA EVERYWHERE. That would be my third reason for not doing it. But mostly because it's so cold.
