Not So ‘Grrrreat’ for Tony Stewart at Daytona

The picture above is what Tony Stewart looked like at practice for the Daytona 500. Excited to get back in the car again after breaking his right leg last August, Tony was hoping for great things this weekend at Daytona.

Instead, this is how Tony spent a lot of his time during the race:

Tony Stewart and his team battled a mechanical problem about halfway through the race and a lot of the footage that we saw on TV was of the #14 car sitting on pit road. I felt bad for Tony as they kept showing video from his in-car camera and you could see the disappointment in his eyes. He ended up finishing 35th in the race.

But hey, I'm going to try and focus on the positive by saying that this gives his leg another week of healing and that things will surely go better for him next week at Phoenix. Right? I mean, it can't get any worse...right? :/
