New Military Museum Up and Operating in Mid-Michigan
The Grass Lake Area Historical Society has opened a new military museum in Grass Lake. The Michigan Military Heritage Museum will share the stories and memorabilia of Michiganders who served their country in wartime. According to the Detroit Free Press, the museum opened in November and is now open Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 to 5:00. The address of the museum is 153 N. Union Street in Grass Lake. It's currently only 5000 square feet in size and they're operating on a tight budget, but they're interested in any donations you can make or stories you have to share.
