About three weeks ago, we first told you about dry dog food that had been flagged by the FDA for having high and potentially deadly levels of vitamin D. That list has expanded. The list now includes many different brands and bag sizes.

It doesn't seem like too much of a  vitamin would be a problem, but apparently too much vitamin D ingested by a dog can cause kidney failure, or even death. The FDA scientists continue to test different brands to determine how wide spread the problem is. In some cases they've found vitamin D levels at 70 times the intended amount.
