Most Michigan Thing Ever – Ice Golf Under the Mighty Mac

If you enjoy golf and the Upper Peninsula, check this out: the 34th Annual U.P Ice Golf Scramble and Glow Ball Challenge in St. Ignace is scheduled for March 6th and 7th this year. (Yes, I'm aware that St. Ignace is barely the U.P. and "ice golf" is barely golf, but c'mon - seems like fun)

If you're interested, get your two-person team signed up by February 29th. According to MLive.com, on the (hopefully) frozen Moran Bay of St Ignace, you will be playing in a nine or 18 hole scramble (depending on how much ice is on the bay). Bring your clubs, some of those brightly colored golf balls and a sled to haul 'em around on the ice.

I know - golf carts would be more fun - but you know somebody would put one in the bay somehow, so...
