Michigan's Own NASCAR Driver Erik Jones Flies The Heavy Iron

Doug Kalitta, NHRA driver and owner of Kalitta Charters in Ypsilanti, took NASCAR driver Erik Jones over to his uncle Connie's Kalitta Air operation yesterday, at Willow Run Airport, to play in their 747 simulator. Looks like they had a good time. According to MLive.com, Erik said, "I would say it is much more challenging than getting in my car and driving."

It's all relative. I know some pilots who would say just the opposite. Good luck to Erik on Sunday at Michigan International Speedway in the FireKeepers Casino 400. And look for WITL on the big screen at the track.
