Who hasn't gotten bored while mowing and wondered, "How straight would I mow, if I were blindfolded?"

According to the Detroit News, that's exactly what happened Wednesday night at Hammerberg Field, on the west side of Detroit. The Detroit Mower Gang - a volunteer group that helps mow some of the many Detroit parks that the city can't afford to mow - decided to spice things up a bit.

They put blindfolds on, cranked up the lawn tractors and mowed the field. It wasn't as easy as they thought it would be. “I could have sworn I was going straight,” said Jim Coffman. He wasn't. None of them were.

But, it could've been worse. “Safer than a Blindfold Weed Whacker Competition,” said Stephen Cook.

After they had finished, they all drank beer. That's right. After.

I raise my own beer can to them, because....'Merica.
