Season 5 of "The Curse of Oak Island debuts tonight (Tuesday November 7th - History Channel - 9PM) I've been a fan since the beginning. Every year around this time, I get excited about the Lagina brothers (originally from the U.P. and now based in Traverse City) finally finding something buried for 200 years on Oak Island, in Nova Scotia.

I know. Since the show is taped in the summer, you would think the discovery of the Ark of the Covenant or a treasure chest full of gold (both rumored to be buried on the island) would be all over the news. My hope is that the Laginas get CLOSE to finding one of those things this season and next year - well, you just wait. There's always next year. Just ask Linus:
