Michigan Town Wants You To Guess When Their Snowmobile Will Fall Through The Ice
Looking for a unique fundraising idea? Well, here's a good one for ya!
According to the Mining Gazette, the Houghton Rotary Club is holding a contest for people to guess when their old snowmobile will fall through the ice. For the fundraiser, organizers put an old snowmobile on a platform above the ice on Portage Lake in Houghton. They are accepting guesses at SinkTheSled.com. Guesses cost $5 for one or $10 for three guesses. The winner will be the person who comes closest to guessing the date and time that the snowmobile actually falls through the ice. Money from the fundraiser will be used for local scholarships.
