Michigan Town To Host First Ever Surf Festival
Polish up your surf board and get ready for the first ever Great Lakes Surf Festival this summer in Muskegon! The festival is on Saturday, August 18th at Pere Marquette Park. Don't surf? Not a problem. According to Mlive.com, the event will also be open to stand-up paddleboarders, kiteboarders, kayakers, windsurfers, and even artists and yogis.
Lots of events are planned for the Great Lakes Surf Festival including surfing workshops, free lessons, stand up paddleboard and kayak races, paddleboard yoga and more. Also, according to the Great Lakes Surf Festival Facebook Page, you'll get a rare opportunity to camp directly on a Lake Michigan beach on the nights of Friday August 17th and Saturday August 18th, 2018.
