Michigan Statewide Tornado Drill Planned For Wednesday
It is Severe Weather Awareness Week and the Michigan State Police want to remind Michigan residents that a statewide tornado drill will take place on Wednesday, April 11th at 1pm. Government agencies, organizations, families and individuals are encouraged to participate in the tornado drill.
TAlso, to help you be prepared in an emergency situation, Michigan.gov has compiled an Emergency Preparedness Kit Checklist. Obviously, water, food, and clean air are important things to have in the event of an emergency. However, according to their checklist, there are several other items you may need, such as medications and infant formula and important documents for you and your family.
