Michigan State Is Increasing Security At Events
Officials at Michigan State University announced some security changes this week. The changes include a no-bag policy for all events at indoor athletic facilities. That change will take effect this Friday--October 20th--at Midnight Madness at the Breslin Center. According to MSU Today, the no-bag policy, similar to the one already in effect for football games, means all bags such as purses, large bags, camera and binocular cases, and other similar bags, are prohibited at all events at indoor athletic facilities, which includes the Breslin Center and Munn Ice Arena. MSU officials also said that you will see a more visible police presence at high-profile events such as home football games.
