You could call it nitpicking after a 56-14 win, but Michigan State had a few defensive deficiencies exposed in Saturday's blowout win over Wyoming.

MSU yielded several big plays to the Cowboys, including a 50-plus yard run in the second quarter. Junior safety RJ Williamson struggled, missing multiple tackles--like on the aforementioned big run. He also appeared to blow a coverage assignment, leading to Wyoming’s second touchdown.

Those kinds of issues will have to be rectified this coming week in practice before the Spartans open Big Ten play in next Saturday's night game against Nebraska.
