Sure - there are a lot of self-driving cars being tested on the roads of America, but all states require a driver behind the wheel on public roads - just in case. According to Fox17online.com, Michigan wants to take the next step and allow self-driving cars to cruise around Michigan with nobody behind the wheel.

This could get exciting.

A committee will hold a hearing on the bill on Wednesday.The move is expected to open the door to make testing easier for the tech companies involved with self-driving car programs. The word is that the bill already has enough support to pass in the state senate.
