Michigan Prepares For Another Flu Season
You've probably already heard the commercials and seen the billboards, it's time to get a flu shot...and the CDC is telling people that this year's flu shot will be more effective than last year's shot. Unfortunately, for those people who got a flu shot last year, it was only about 23% effective.
According to report in Newsweek, officials with the CDC say that the vaccine on-hand will be more effective because it appears to be matching up with the strains of the flu that officials are seeing so far. At least 171 million doses of flu vaccine are expected this year and about 40 million of this years doses have already been shipped.
So, here's the question for you...will you be getting a flu shot this year?
