Michigan’s Paris Baguette: A Sweet Surprise

If there's a place that serves coffee and pastries, count me in. That's why I was so happy to discover this bakery and café, the likes of which I had never seen before.

I was on an adventure with my husband recently, during which we needed a refuel. Not gas for the car, mind you — but caffeine and a snack for us.

In hopes of trying someplace new, he looked up cafes near us, and that led us to Paris Baguette. I felt that with a name like that, you really can't go wrong, so we gave it a try. And let me tell you, I was not prepared for what was inside.

First Impressions of Paris Baguette

When you walk into Paris Baguette, you're met with the usual lovely smells of a café bakery: coffee brewing, pastries baking, and a hint of sugar in the air. But this bakery was like one I hadn't seen before.

More than just your usual croissant, baguette, or ham and swiss pastry items, Paris Baguette served so many pastry and sweet items that I had to take a tour of what they had first before I could even make a decision.

After looking through the dozens of items, we settled on an almond pastry, a pain au chocolat, and a plain latte. Everything was absolutely delicious, so much so that we ate our pastries before I remembered to take a pic.
