In the future, we'll all be tooling around the countryside in self-driving cars. You'll hop in your vehicle, tell it, "go to work" or "go home", and then sit back and play video games or catch up on your reading, while your car gets you to your destination. At least, that's what I'm told. And the people at Google have been testing their self-driving car in northern California for years now, so we should be seeing those soon, right?

It might be a while before we see one here in Michigan. Why?

Self-driving cars don't like heavy snow.

Or heavy rain.

Or parking garages. Or.....
