Michigan Makes Top 10 List For Deer-Related Car Accidents
State Farm recently released their latest list of states with the most deer-related car accidents and it's probably not a surprise, but Michigan made the Top 10. We're actually lower on the list than I thought we would be. (I've seen deer on my way into work A LOT the last few weeks.) According to the list, Michigan was ranked #8 with your chance of hitting a deer listed as 1 in 80. The state with the most likelihood to hit a deer was West Virginia. They've actually been #1 on the list for the last 12 years.
There is some good news with this year's numbers. The annual report says that the number of deer-related car accidents has actually decreased slightly over the last year. Click here to see the entire list from State Farm.
