Eric Hartmann was in downtown Lansing yesterday, at Michigan Lottery headquarters to do what we've all dreamed of - picking up his giant, fake check (but real money) after winning an almost $2 million "Lotto 47" jackpot.

According to MLive.com, "Up until about 12 days ago, I didn't think anyone won the Lottery," said Hartman. "I thought it was all a conspiracy, but I have a much different outlook now."

Eric, who's from Dexter and bought the ticket at a Marathon gas station there, has decided to take a lump sum payment of $1.2 million.

Or, so the State of Michigan SAYS "Eric" has decided. Hmmm.

Here's the story. With a photo of "Eric".
