There are a couple of recall notices that hunters need to be aware of before heading out to the woods. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says the companies, Big Game and API Outdoors, both have tree stands that pose a fall hazard because the cable assembly can release while in use.

The API Outdoors tree stand recall involves the Global Manufacturing Big Game GCL300 (The Marksman) tree stand--pictured here:

The Big Game tree stand recall involves the Big Game CL050 (The Outlook) tree stand--pictured here:
