I am guilty! I have been eating more comfort food the last 12 months then anytime in my life. With COVID-19, I think many of us have been. It is so easy to fall into that trap when you are spending more time at home. If you break down all of Americans’ favorite comfort foods by state, this is what you have according to huff.com. This is based on recipes with the highest Google search volume in 2020.

Michigan's favorite is chicken noodle soup. And why not? There is nothing better on a cold day in the mitten. Grilled cheese was the most popular comfort food overall and picked at the top of list in six states including California, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Virginia.
