Roy Beasley, from Madison Heights, is in the Michigan record books - again. He broke his own record May 13th, when he shot a  27-pound, 35.25-inch bigmouth buffalo while bow-fishing on the River Raisin in Monroe County.

According to the Detroit Free Press Roy broke the record he set in 2008 when he got one in the Detroit River that weighed 24.74 pounds and measured 34.5 inches.

(BTW - the biggest one ever caught on rod and reel was caught by a 13-year old, in Wisconsin, in 2013. It weighed 76.8 pounds.)
