The Detroit St. Patrick's Parade
Detroit's annual St. Patrick's Parade is one of the biggest in the nation, often attracting upwards of 80,000 spectators. The 2025 edition of the parade happens March 16 at 1pm, traveling along Michigan Avenue between 6th and 14th Streets.
Irish On Off Ionia
Calder Plaza in Grand Rapids is where Irish Off Ionia will be taking place on Saturday, March 15. The all-day festival will feature plenty of Irish-inspired food and drink, and lots of live entertainment.

Brick by Brick: The Creative Art of LEGO®
The Grand Rapids Art Museum hosts Brick by Brick: The Creative Art of LEGO® now through April 27.
The event features an interactive community LEGO® building area, a create-your-own mini-figure drawing activity, and a mini-figure scavenger hunt throughout the museum among other activities.
Fenner Nature Center's Maple Syrup Festival
Fenner Nature Center in Lansing hosts its 50th annual Maple Syrup Festival the weekend of March 22-23. In addition to all things maple, this event also features plenty of hands-on activities along with food and drink.
Brrs, Beards & Brews: A Lumberjack Festival
Lansing's "Brrs, Beards & Brews" is a fun time for ages 21 and up.
It happens along Turner Street in Lansing's Old Town - this year on March 29 - and features multiple teams competing in a variety of often silly lumberjack-inspired games as they vie for the crown.
The Spring Flower Show at Hidden Lake Gardens
The Conservatory at Hidden Lake Gardens in Tipton hosts its Spring Flower Show through March 23. Relax and enjoy a stroll among the daffodils, hyacinths, tulips, amaryllis and more as they welcome the beginning of spring.
A Beer Tour
