Love LEGOS? A LEGO Store Will be Opening in Grand Rapids Soon!
Visiting the LEGO store is what many kids, big and little, dream of, as you shop for your favorite set, and see some of the incredible LEGO figures built by the experts. But, you can only find a LEGO store in a major city like Chicago, New York, and more.
But, not anymore. The LEGO store Bricks & Minifigs has announced that it will open in Grand Rapids on December 10. The store will be located at 2927 Breton Road Southeast, just south of 28th street in the Breton Center.
No, this won't be the huge LEGO store you think of when in, like, Chicago, but for LEGO fans it could be a dream come true, and just in time for Christmas.
Fox17 reports Bricks & Minifigs will specialize in buying, selling, and trading new and used LEGO sets, bulk bricks, and minifigures. There will also be a fun event space for birthday parties or special LEGO themed events, including after-school robotics clubs, “Make-and-Take” events, and Brick Derby races. Fun!
The grand opening on December 10th will be a lot of fun because LEGO Masters contestants Maria and Philip Straatsma who competed in the second season of the competition series, which aired on FOX last year, will be there. Time to get some good tips!
Also, the first 175 customers will get a free custom Bricks & Minifigs Grand Rapids minifig with any purchase. There will also be raffles and giveaways, and the store will also feature unique LEGO builds from the West Michigan LEGO User Group.
