Lavender Festival is This Weekend at Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill
Michigan has a bountiful harvest throughout the year.
U-Pick Berries Across Michigan
We've just wrapped up the strawberry season. We're in the midst of the blueberry and cherry seasons. And this fall we'll be headed into apple season.
What's cool is that so many farms and orchards across Michigan offer u-pick produce. You can pick your strawberries, cherries, blueberries, and apples. But that's not all you can pick.
Lavender Season in Michigan
Michigan has more than fruit this time of year. It also has fragrant fields of lavender.
We are currently in the midst of the lavender season, which typically kicks off in mid-July and runs through August. And this weekend you'll be able to pick your own lavender and enjoy a festival entirely dedicated to this fragrant flower.
