Lansing Can Look Forward to an Unseasonably Warm Weekend
In August this year, in the midst of days reaching the mid-80s and low 90s, we saw some fall-like weather. And then, in mid-September when highs typically hover around the low to mid-70s, we saw almost a whole week of summer-like temperatures in the mid-80s to low-90s.
And now, Lansing is going to see another weird temperature fluctuation this weekend. I mean, what else do you expect? This is Michigan, after all...

For the last couple of weeks, mid-Michigan has been in the midst of some truly fall-like weather. Foggy, gloomy, rainy, and highs never that never get above 60. This weekend, we're in for a bit of a change.
Lansing's Weekend Weather Will Feel Like Summer
According to the 10-day forecast for Lansing from The Weather Channel, we can look forward to some very summer-like conditions. Saturday, October 22nd through Monday, October 24th, you can expect high temperatures to reach the mid-70s and for partly to mostly sunny skies. Much different than the temperatures we've had lately where the high only gets into the low-40s.
If you were hoping to sneak in a round of golf (or two) where you don't have to freeze your butt off in the process, this weekend is the time to get it done. Make sure to book yourself a tee time.
Fall Weather is Back for Halloween Day
Tuesday, we'll get reach the mid-60s for a high, and then after that, we're right back into the swing of fall weather. Mostly cloudy skies with occasional rain, and high temps ranging in the low to upper 50s.
As far as Halloween goes, as of right now, it looks like the kids will need a coat while going trick-or-treating, with a high temperature only reaching the low-50s that day.
But at the end of the day, this is Michigan, and all of this could change as soon as tomorrow. So keep an eye on the weather forecast until then.
