The COVID-19 pandemic changed a lot of things for us. One thing it really tested was the relationships we have in our lives. Whether it's a relationship you've been in for years or something that started at the beginning of the pandemic, you've probably endured some challenges. Even without a pandemic, relationships can be difficult.

Are you and your significant other ready for this years 'The Love in Lansing' contest? The theme is a little obvious, it's "Love During Pandemic."

All you have to do is share how you and your partner were able to get through the difficulty of this past year. Maybe you had to quarantine separately because one of you was an essential worker. Share your story on how hard it was to do long distance. Or, if your relationship started at the beginning of the pandemic and you decided to quarantine together, discuss the pros and cons of living with your partner.

If you don't relate to any of those examples, here's a little information on my story. My relationship started during the pandemic, but my significant other has been in my life for over a decade. It took some unfortunate situations and life challenges to see what was right in front of me.

You have until tomorrow, February 4th, to share your love stories. To enter you must email 100 words or less to opinions@lsj.com. Don't forget to include your name, address, phone number and a picture that can be used for your story.

One lucky person will win a $200 gift card to Sweet Custom Jewelry in Old Town Lansing! The top stories will also be featured on the Lansing State Journal on Valentine's Day, February 14th!
