Jolly Road Lane Reduction Could Be Coming

If you travel on or live on Jolly Road, then you might be seeing some lane changes coming soon. According to WILX, they are reporting that Jolly Road is being repaved in Meridian Township and that the paving could result in a reduction of lanes from 4 to three.

The lane reduction won't be happening for all of our area but could be coming to Jolly from Hagadorn Road to west of Okemos Road, and east of Okemos Road to Dobie Road. In this area Jolly Road is four lanes with two going in each direction and after the proposed change, it could go down to one lane in both ways with a middle turn lane.

This plan hasn't been approved and there will be two public hearings this month so the public can get in on the conversation.  More on it here.
