Izzo Says Spartans Learned Their Lesson Last Saturday
Tom Izzo talked to our friends on the radio at WVFN-AM (right across the hall from WITL) this week. According to MLive (and the guys across the hall) Izzo says the Spartans learned an important lesson last Saturday - you can't have a bad half against a team like Michigan and still win.
(Yeah, I know - that Northwestern "come from behind win" was fun. Not likely ever again. But, fun.)
With a week off before the NCAA Tournament selection, Izzo apparently took everybody on a field trip to Chicago this week, to hang out with the Chicago Bulls at practice and to take in the Broadway musical "Hamilton". We'll see if they learned something from watching all that fancy footwork when they open their NCAA Tournament run in (hopefully) Detroit, next week. I like our chances.
