It’s Time For Another Free Fishing Weekend In Michigan

If you don't have plans for this weekend, you could always do some free fishin'! It's time another Free Fishing Weekend in the state of Michigan. According to Michigan.gov, all fishing license fees will be waived for two days. Residents and out-of-state visitors may enjoy fishing on both inland and Great Lakes' waters for all species of fish.

The state offers free fishing weekends twice a year. In 2017, it's this weekend (February 18th and 19th) and again on June 10th and 11th. It should be a great weekend to do some fishing too, as temperatures in Michigan this weekend will be in the low 50's.
