It’s Been 60 Years And This Michigan Landmark Is Now Getting Some Fresh Paint
I'll start by saying this....never in a million years would I want to be one of the painters for this project...I would by wayyy too scared...but that's just me...
The Michigan Department of Transportation says that for the first time in its 60-year history, one of the ivory towers on the Mighty Mackinac Bridge will be stripped down to bare metal and repainted. The painting project is expected to last two years and will cost approximately $6.3 million and will be painted by some very brave people. (I added that last part...)
