Tavo Hellmund is the guy who brought Formula One racing back to the U.S. - the right way. (Yeah, they raced at Indy from 2000-2007, but the Texas track he helped become a reality is built specifically for F1) He also brought Formula One back to Mexico after 23 years and this year that race was a HUGE success. Now, according to the Austin American-Statesman, Tavo wants to buy an F1 team. He's probably got the connections to get it done.

And he wants Dale Earnhardt Jr to drive the car.

Crazier things have happened and Tavo wants to field a team with an American driver. Gene Haas, of the Stewart-Haas NASCAR team will be fielding an F1 team starting next year. Kurt Busch's name, as well as Danica Patrick's came up as possible drivers for the Haas team. They chose Romain Grosjean, a Frenchman and Mexican driver Esteban Gutiérrez to drive their cars.

Admit it - you'd get up early and watch Dale Jr if he was in the Monaco Grand Prix.
