Yeah, I know we're all country fans, but I think a LOT of us grew up Bob Seger fans. And if they were put out today, most of the songs on the "Night Moves", "Stranger in Town" and "Against the Wind" albums would've been right at home on country radio.

Which brings us to the "Cat Man Do" bar in Unionville, MI (near the bay, in the Thumb). The guy who owns the bar, Dennis Collon, just opened the bar last Friday. According to MLive.com, Dennis is (obviously) a big fan and once even played pool with Bob when Seger was just starting out in the 60s.

And Seger has let Dennis know, through mutual contacts, that he'll stop in at some point to check out the bar.

As far as I'm concerned, this place has Saturday road-trip written all over it.
